Abstract

British social workers can use British law to improve various aspects of society, such as racial discrimination and other social inequalities. The Children Act 1989 and the national health service (NHS) Act 1990 are criticised for being badly worded and unfinished. The social worker can use their knowledge and legal services to the benefit of society and their client.
