Distortion-free delta-sigma beamforming

One-bit delta-sigma A/D converters were used to analyze the noise caused in a compact, digital delay-and-sum beamformer by applying dynamic delays in a delta-sigma modulated bitstream. The findings from the study could be used to design a new method to remove the distortion without any significant increase in system complexity.
