Abstract

A study examines the health benefits of drinking Ku-Ding-Cha, an herbal tea produced from Ligustrum purpurascens, because it contains 4 major catechin antioxidants. Results suggest that the phenylethanoid glycosides found as main constituents in the leaves of L. purpurescens will promote the usage of herbal tea for the human health.
