Abstract

Indirect radiation effects are studied by X-band electron spin resonance spectroscopy (ESR) in [gamma]-irradiated hyperquenched glassy water (HGW) matrix containing 2'-deoxyguanosine-5'-monophosphate. The studies have shown that H[O.sub.2] radicals are not the product of H atom reaction with molecular oxygen, which are prepared by ultrasounds used in the preparation of the sample.
