Ageing rock star of the world revolution

Fidel Castro, the Cuban president, has led his country since 1959 and is unlikely to step down even though he is now over 70 years-of-age. Castro has been a strong influence on international politics throughout his political career and will probably rule the country in the twenty-first century. Cuba has adopted a partial and inconsistent open marketplace since 1991.
