Abstract

Advertising agencies should accept proposed federal restrictions on cigarette ads aimed at children. Fighting the regulations in court would cost the agencies financially and politically. The tobacco restrictions, as well as the proposed V-chip to screen children from certain TV programs, are increasingly popular in the US.
