Abstract

Combination of liquid chromatography and multiple-stage mass spectrometry were employed to perform a site-specific glycosylation analysis of rat brain IgLON proteins. The linkage observed between BA-2 and IgLON family protein revealed that the proteins might be the ligand proteins for the [Na.sup.+]/[K.sup.+] ATPase [beta]1 subunit and the method used might be applied to site-specific glycosylation analysis of various membrane glycoproteins.
