Abstract
- Evidence is emerging that may help bring Serbian Pres. Slobodan Milosevic before the United Nations war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands. Witnesses reveal that thousands of convicts were armed and sent to fight in paramilitary groups such as the Serbian Cetnik Movement and Arkan's Tigers by a small group of Serbian secret policemen under Milosevic's direct control. These paramilitary groups carried out a murderous campaign of ethnic cleansing and looting under the command of a small group of Milosevic appointees in the State Security Dept of the Serbian interior ministry.
