Abstract
- China's influence in shaping the political order in the Asia-Pacific is perceived as a threat by other countries due to its undefined strategy for political, military and economic expansion. Although its recent entrance to the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation is viewed as a positive move, the country is still learning from American and Japanese 'grand strategies.' The undefined and changing policies makes China a real threat and unless the government makes any moves, the uncertainty that its Asian neighbors feel will continue.
