Abstract

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Steve Johnson vetoed the Yazoo Pumps Project on August 31, 2008. Environmental groups like the National Wildlife Federation view the veto as a victory in saving the natural habitat of animals such as the Louisiana black bear.
