Abstract

Turkey is launching its indigenous surveillance satellite program by acquiring a submetric optical-imaging spacecraft. It has selected Telespazio of France to supply the Gokturk surveillance satellite, which will also set up a joint venture with a Turkish company to develop and market geospatial information system products.
