Abstract
- Chemicals manufacturer Clariant AG reports a 5% full-year drop in sales to 8.1 billion Swiss francs. To shore up its finances and reduce costs, the company announced it will cut a further 1,000 jobs -besides the 2,200 already announced-, and cancel dividend pay-outs for 2008.
