Abstract: The synthesis and X-ray structure characterization of zirconium tetraaza macrocycle-supported bis(amido) complexes from ((Me4taa)ZrX2), where X could either be a Cl or CH2SiMe3, were carried out. The reaction of bis(amido)-(mu-imido) dizirconium complexes with Me4taaH2 to yield the asymmetrically substituted complex represent the first successful preparation of a tetraaza macrocycle-supported imido complexes.
