Abstract

Conservator Anna Plowden studied on the Diploma Course in Conservation at the Institute of Archaeology in London, England, in the academic year 1962 to 1963. She subsequently gained a Fellowship from the British School of Archaeology, and worked on the conservation and restoration of the Nimrud Ivories in the Museum of Iraq. She later worked as a part-time lecturer at the Institute of Archaeology and set up her own company specializing in restoring and conserving archaeological and fine art objects.
