Abstract

Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Media Laboratory physicist Joseph M. Jacobson heads a team of researchers that has developed a method of placing dynamic particle ink technology directly onto paper substrates. This innovation may eventually lead to consumer availability of single, reusable pieces of paper that can print and reprint images and text, using ink that is electronically planted within the paper itself.
