Abstract
- The design, validation, and application of the MAPAC pan-genome microarray consisting of optimized oligonucleotide reporters to generate a specific signal for each of the shared and unique ORFs present in the Mycobacterium avium subsp. hominissuis 104 and M. avium subsp. paratuberculosis K-10 genomes are described. Quantitative PCR has shown that variation in vGI signals is associated with colony growth rate and morphology.
