Abstract
- A facile solvothermal process is used for obtaining a novel sulfur-terminal Zn(II) complex Zn[(S).sub.2]L (L = N-hexyl-3-{2-[4-(2,2':6',2'-terpyridin-4'-yl)phenyl]ethenyl}carbazole). The Zn[(S).sub.2]L complex has shown two-photon excited fluorescence (TPEF), which is useful for two-photon microscopy imaging in living cells.
