Abstract
- Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien had a 52% approval rating according to a Gallup survey conducted in Jul 22-27, 1997. This is slightly below the June rating of 52%. He has his highest approval rating in Ontario with 63% and his lowest in Quebec with 41%. His approval is more than the disapproval in all the regions. In the 40-49 age group he has 58% support.
