Cranes-on-rail lifting scheme makes 'mass transit' easier

Abstract

A rail mounted crane system for the construction of the Ravens Stadium in Baltimore, MD is easing construction hassles. The rail-mounted cranes were supplied by Morrow Equipment Co and facilitates construction through operating in any weather, easing congestion and saving time. The cranes were chosen as the stadium's design requires the installation of 3,668 precast components.
