Liberal support remains at 55%

A Gallup telephone survey of 1004 adults conducted November 17-23, 1997, demonstrates that 55% of Canadians whose vote is decided will cast their ballot for Liberal candidates in federal election. The results show no change over the survey of October, 1997. The survey indicates a substantial increase for Liberals over the last election, in which support stood at 38% in the months following the election.
