Liberal support rebounds to 55%

A Gallup telephone survey of 1004 Canadian adults conducted October 7-13, 1997, demonstrates that support for federal Liberals has rebounded to 55% from the 48% reported in the September, 1997 poll. Progressive Conservatives and Reform Party politicians share second place, with support for both at 14%. Thirty-percent of respondents are undecided on which party they support.
