Abstract

The Nursing Interventions Classification system was found to be an effective tool in determining how to best support across-site comparisons of nursing treatments. Once mapped for the purposes of comparison, nursing orders can be examined for collective and communicative analysis. This kind of mapping can foster collaborative efforts among health care practitioners, educators, and researchers.
