Abstract
- The polymerizable lipid bis-dienoyl phosphatidylcholine (bis-DenPC) on glass pipettes of 10 [mu]m (I.D.) was utilized to fabricate stabilized Black lipid membranes (BLMs) which are widely used for recording the activity of incorporated ion channel proteins. The polymerized BLMs containing functional ion channels might represent a useful technology for development of robust biosensors and drug screening devices.
