Twenty-eight percent disapprove of Chretien. Regionally, the lowest approval rate for Chretien comes from Quebec residents where only 35% approve, compared to 46% who disapprove. The highest approval rate comes from Ontario residents where 64% approve. Highly educated and affluent Canadians express the highest approval rate (56%) for Prime Minister Chretien, compared to those with public or high school education (49%).
