Abstract

Advances in information technology have set up formidable challenges to corporate security departments. Safeguarding intellectual property necessitates security managers' extension of their risk assessment skills into computer systems. As such, an understanding of fundamental computer terms is unavoidable. Security agents' should have access to a complete list of source and object codes. They should continually test the system's capacity to withstand a crash. To this end, they should strive to create a close working relationship with the information services department.
