Abstract

A study was conducted to compare the outcome and recovery among patients with sciatica that have been treated with tubular diskectomy as against conventional microdiskectomy. Results indicated that tubular diskectomy was not as effective as conventional microdiskectomy and resulted in less favorable results for self-reported leg pain and back pain,
