Information about the widening gap between public- and private-sector pension provision is presented. It is believed that this gap is fuelling the clamor for reform from the CBI, the Institute of Directors, and assorted think-tanks. Unions that represent public-sector employees also believe that nobody will benefit from a leveling down of public-sector provision.
