Cross-sectional survey of growth of urban and rural 'Cape Coloured' school children: anthropometry and functional tests

The physical growth patterns and function, which includes grip strength, reflexes and pulse rates of 'Cape Coloured' urban and rural school children were studied to determine nutritional status. Rural children at postpuberty were found to consistently lie below the standard deviation in matched American data.
