Abstract
- Computational methods were employed in the examination of the role of ideal grain boundaries in composite-type permanent magnets. Results verify the importance of ideal intergranular exchange interaction in obtaining a sufficiently high coercivity and high remanence. The linear dependences of remanence for a 20 nm mean grain diameter and a 50% alpha-iron volume fraction were also determined.
