Abstract
- Campus policies do not protect the integrity of university-related research. Researchers often work as paid consultants for companies with encouragement from institutions who want faculty members to work with industry. Many professors' disclosures are kept private but some institutions require professors to make potential conflicts public in their journal articles and presentations.
