Public schools remain atop institutional list for respect and confidence

A Gallup survey conducted Apr 20-16, 1998, shows that Canada's public schools receive the highest degrees of confidence and respect from Canadians, with 52% of respondents indicating a great deal or quite a lot of confidence and respect. Respondents also answered with a great deal or quite a lot of respect for the Canadian Armed Forces, at 50%, and for the Supreme Court and religious institutions, at 49%.
