Abstract

A Gallup survey conducted May 22-31, 1998, found that 55% of Canadians would vote for the Liberal Party, a significantly higher percentage than those for other party affiliations. The federal Progressive Conservative Party is supported by 15% of respondents, with Preston Manning's Reform Party garnering 12%. Figures are down 3% for the Liberal Party, up 2% for the Conservatives and unchanged for the Reform Party from Apr 1998.
