Abstract
- The viscosities of metaphosphate, pyrophosphate, molybdate and fluorophosphate glasses were measured in the shear deformation mode by applying the sandwich method from room temperature to the glass transition temperature Tg. Two relaxations were observed at lower and higher temperatures for glasses with long molecular chains, while only one relaxation was found at higher temperatures in glasses without the chain. A relationship between the frequency factor and the activation energy was observed for the high temperature relaxation.
