Abstract

Selenization of Fe films using molecular beam epitaxy equipment was undertaken to prepare FexSey films on GaAs(001) substrates. Their structural and magnetic properties were studied, and the selenized films obtained comprised polycrystalline grains of 100-170 nm. Magnetic anisotropy was weakened when the selenization ratio of the samples was increased.
