Abstract
- A Gallup survey conducted Jun 22-30, 1998, showed that a majority of Canadians approve of Jean Chretien's performance as Prime Minister. Of those polled, 54% support Chretien, down from 61% in Apr 1998. Approval ratings are highest in Ontario at 64%, and lowest in Quebec, were the populace is split nearly evenly at 42% approval and 43% disapproval.
