Abstract
- A Gallup survey conducted Jul 24 - Aug 3, 1998, revealed that the majority of Canadians are confident in Prime Minister Jean Chretien. More than half of those polled, or 53%, approve of Chretien's performance, down from 61% in Apr 1998. Ontarians are the most approving, at 63%. Quebec residents are almost equally divided in opinion, with 38% approving and 40% disapproving.
