Abstract
- Research reveals that excessive drinkers respond more successfully to intervention treatments based on workshops and one-on-one training. More than 60% of those patients who attended workshops and 57% of those in one-on-one training remained with the treatment programs after a 6-month period, while only 36% of those who self-treated with a mail-order kit remained in the program.
