Abstract

This paper presents our work o n magnetic modeling of degaussing coils. The main reason of bad results on coils effects is a locally insufficient mesh. Instead of using a finer and expensive mesh, we propose an alternative method named 'reduced potential jump' to solve the problem of coils and present comparative results on a simple geometry and on a ship model.
