Abstract
- Experiments were performed to produce the intrazeolitic Zn2+ tetra(3,4-pyridine)porphyrazine (ZnPz-Z) by the template synthesis method. Metal-free porphyrazine and 3,4-dicyanopyridine (DCP) noncyclic oligomers were produced to generate ZnPz-Z due to the need for large amount of DCP. Spectroscopic characterization studies showed that the ground state structure of the zeolite-entrapped ZnPz was similar to that of the free complex.
