Abstract
- A Gallup survey performed April 20-26, 1998, found that 61% of Canadians approve of Jean Chretien's performance as prime minister. Approval ranges from as high as 76% in Ontario to 43% in Quebec. Education is a significant factor, with approval at nearly 70% for university educated respondents and 55% for public/high school educated respondents.
