Abstract
- A Gallup survey conducted March 18-24, 1998, found that 54% of Canadians support Jean Charest as the next leader of the Quebec Liberal Party. Support for Charest is highest in Ontario at 59%, and lowest in Quebec and British Columbia, both at 49%. Nearly one-quarter of respondents, or 23%, do not support Charest and another 23% have no opinion.
