Abstract: The oxovanadium heptagons sandwiched by [beta]-cyclodextrins has displayed stepped magnetization curves, which are characteristic of level crossings of spin sublevels. Doubly degenerate ground Kramers' doublet spilt into two spin states and the splitting energy gaps have depended upon ring distortions.
