Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate and compare the efficacy of dopamine and norepinephrine as first-line vasopressor agents in the treatment of shock. Results indicated that dopamine was associated with a greater number of adverse events; however, there was no difference in mortality rate following treatment with either of the two.
