Abstract

Multiferroic Y-type hexaferrite [Ba.sub.0.5][Sr.sub.1.5][Zn.sub.2][Fe.sub.12][O.sub.22] ceramics are prepared and their magnetic and dielectric properties are compared with single crystal. Ferroelectric (FE) phase is induced by external magnetic field in all samples and the phase diagram in ceramics has resembled that of the single crystal.
