France Telecom moves closer to Le Monde bid

Abstract
- France Telecom S.A. has teamed up with Groupe SFA PAR and Spain's Promotora de Informaciones S.A. to issue a bid of between 80 million euro and 100 million euro for a 65% stake in French newspaper Le Monde. In addition, France Telecom is negotiating independently the acquisition of a stake in the newspaper's website LeMonde.fr.
