Comparison of the nature of magnetism in [alpha]-Ni[(OH).sub.2] and [beta]-Ni[(OH).sub.2]

The article presents a comparative analysis of the structural, as well as the magnetic properties of the [alpha]-Ni[(OH).sub.2] and [beta]-Ni[(OH).sub.2] compounds. The magnetism of these compounds is shown to be completely dependent on the temperatures, as well as the magnetic fields.
