Abstract

Tullow Oil PLC signed a heads of agreement with Staatsoilie Maatschappij Suriname NV regarding the exploration of a 2,369-square kilometer deepwater block off the Suriname coast. Tullow will have a 100% interest during the exploration phase, while Staatsoilie can participate during the development and production phases with a 20% interest.
