Abstract

Luminant, a subsidiary of Energy Future Holdings Corp., has used remnants of the ill-fated Twin Oaks and Forest Grove plants to construct the new two-unit 1,600-MW Oak Grove Plant. The Oak Grove Power Plant was awarded POWER magazine's 2010 Plant of the Year Award for melding two different steam generators in a single project.
