Abstract

The article presents a new methodology, which uses the [1.sup]H relaxation dispersion phenomenon for the quantification of the [13.sup]CH[D.sub.2] methyl group probes of millisecond time scale exchange in proteins. The application of the technique for the analysis of proteasome gating residue dynamics is also discussed.
