Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate the benefits of introducing early palliative care in the case of patients with metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer on outcomes and end of life care. Results indicated that early palliative care in the case of such patients resulted in improved outcomes as well as longer survival and better quality of life and mood.
